City of Melbourne Act 2001, Section 9F
This form is to be used where a rateable property is jointly occupied by more than two people and the occupiers wish to change which occupiers are enrolled to vote in Melbourne City Council elections.
To be eligible you must:
be 18 years old, or will turn 18 on or before the next Melbourne City Council elections day
jointly occupy (with other individuals) a rateable property in the City of Melbourne
not reside in the City of Melbourne
You do not need to be an Australian citizen.

Voting in Melbourne City Council elections is compulsory for every enrolled voter.
Please note:
For this application to be effective we must receive it before the roll closes for the next Melbourne City Council elections.
All occupiers of the rateable property must be listed, and one occupier must sign the authorisation.
The authorising occupier cannot be one of the two people applying to be enrolled for the property.
The name of each person to be removed from the voters’ roll must be listed for this form to have effect.
The full details of each person applying to be enrolled must be provided, including their date of birth, and each applicant must sign the declaration.
A rateable property is a property on which the City of Melbourne charges municipal rates.
To be an occupier you must have an ongoing and exclusive right of use of an area.

If the property is occupied jointly with other people and corporations, please refer to
Form B - Enrolment of Joint Owners’ or Joint Occupiers’ Representatives.
